Hrithik Roshan launches iBall tablet

iBall recently launched their first tablet called iBall Slide here in India. The manufacturer has managed to rope in Hrithik Roshan as its brand ambassador. The tablet is called iBall Slide and it has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor inside. This device has a capacitive touchscreen and it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. There is eight gigabytes of internal memory and the microSD card lets you expand it to 32 GB more.
ConneHrithik Roshan launches iBall tabletctivity options on the iBall Slide include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G (on a dongle). The USB host and on-the-go port lets you copy material on a pen drive. You can also attach a keyboard or mouse on this USB port and this tablet can be connected to a PC. For enhancing the user experience, this device has Bluetooth support for connecting peripherals such has headphones, Bluetooth mice and keyboards.
iBall Slide will have a 4,400 mAh battery inside which has a rated life of 6.5 hours for music playback and five hours for video playback. There is a two megapixels camera on the front and for watching HD quality videos, there is HDMI port.
iBall Slide supports 3D games and HD quality videos. The price of this tablet is attractive and competitive at Rs. 13,995. There are a lot of features here like Visual search, Web browsing, Voice actions, chat, e-mail, social networking, HD video and music, e-book, gaming, news, weather and lots more from The Android Market. There is also ‘Documents to go’ inside which gives users access to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and PDF documents.

iBall director Sandeep Parasrampuria said that worldwide market is rising for the tablet PCs phenomenally it will soon reach 175 million units by the year 2014. He also added that iBall is a power packed tablet containing a lot of features and high end technology. He is confident that Indian consumers will like this device.
When asked why iBall chose Hrithik Roshan, Parasrampuria said that they were looking for a personality which encapsulated the real life aspects of the tablet and hence they chose the bollywood actor.
This tablet will be launched in India in a few days and will soon arrive at all the leading stores across the country.
