INR

6. Koenigsegg Agera R
94,746,454.11

of Swedish automotive engineering; the Koenigsegg Agera Rs’s calling card has hair-raising performance and neck-snapping speed written all over it. Not exactly your typical Swedish bank vault on wheels.
For $1.6M the Agera R sports a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that creates a king’s ransom in torque, 885 lb-ft to be precise, and an overwhelming amount of horsepower: 1,115!
Racing from 0-60 takes less than three seconds (2.9) with a maximum top speed of 260 mph. interestingly, the Agera R can actually hit 270 mph but in order to do so owners need to sign a waiver for the speedy Swedes to unlock the speed limiter.
5. Lamborghini Reventon
95,348,373.56
INR

Lamborghini Reventon hails from Sant’Agata Bolognese and takes its name from a prized Spanish fighting bull that fought during the 1940s.
Only 20 copies have been produced and feature a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 650 hp and 478 lb-ft of torque. Top speed is pegged at 211 mpg while the sprint to 60 takes 3.4 seconds.
Reventon is the second most expensive Lamborghini behind the ultra-rare Veneno, not including the track-only Sesto Elemento and the concept Aventador

4. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster 106,705,644.80 INR

Unfortunately, the Aston Martin One-77 has to share fourth place with another car. Fortunately, that car is the Zonda Cinque Roadster, made by Italian boutique automaker Pagani.
Zonda Cinque wears a full carbon-fiber suit with a specially developed carbon-titanium chassis underneath. Weighing in at 2,667 lbs, the Zonda Cinque is actually one pound lighter than a Mini Cooper S (2,668 lbs). However, it’s powered by 678 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque AMG-sourced V12 with a top speed of 217 mph and a 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds, making it slightly faster than a Mini Cooper.
Oh, and Pagani only built five of them,

2. W Motors Lykan Hypersport 201,595,190.64 INR

Think for a second on countries that produce supercars and chances are Lebanon isn’t on your list. But that could very well change with W Motor’s Lykan Hypersport.
feature a turbocharged six-cylinder engine, a top speed of 245 mph, and a 0-60 time of 2.7 seconds.
Lykan will feature diamond-coated LED lights, gold-stitched leather seats, and a holographic interface, making it the first car ever to sport such a display.

1. Lamborghini Veneno 237,126,110.67 INR

Lamborghini Veneno (Spanish for “poison”). The raging bull’s latest creation debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and sports a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated (no turbo charging) V12 that produces 750 horsepower. Top speed is said to be 221 mph with reported 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds.
Lamborghini only made three for sale and they’re all already spoken for. Maybe one will turn up on eBay. In 2050.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento 130,388,058.60 INR

Italian for “sixth element” the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento isn’t even out yet and of the 20 being made, all are already spoken for. Sorry.
The other bad news: it’s not street legal in the U.S

Ferrari Enzo 39,665,762.65 INR

Named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, the Ferrari Enzo supercar is a 12-cylinder, mid-engine Italian nightmare on wheels. Only 400 copies were made between 2002 and 2004, making it an extremely rare, but oh-so-amazing, acquisition.
Top speed is limited to 217 mph while a 0-60 dash takes 3.5 seconds.

Mahindra XUV500 - Frontview
(NoteThe Mahindra XUV500 bookings did not reach a whopping 6000 in 2 days, Infact as per the official press release bookings have crossed 5,000+ in a mere 6 days and across only 5 cities. We apologize for the mistake and the error is regretted)
Mahindra and Mahindra recently launched the much awaited XUV500 alias W201 SUV on September and in just two days the bookings reach a whopping 6000, according to the reports. The competitive Mahindra XUV 500 price of Rs 10.8 lakhs for the base variant has worked wonders in Mahindra’s favour. The Mahindra XUV 500 was launched in both the two-wheel drive and the four-wheel drive variants – W6 4×2 , W8 4×2 and W8 4×4.
Undoubtedly Mahindra XUV 500 apparently scores high on many points like, it offers a spacious interiors accommodating seven passengers similar to any other premier SUV. The Mahindra SUV comes loaded with many features like cruise control, touch screen enabled music system with steering mounted audio controls, power-folding rear view mirrors, glove box and puddle lamps.
The XUV500 is a well proportioned vehicle which looks athletic and sharp from plenty of angles and in plenty of places. Mahindra & Mahindra insists that the new SUV’s design has taken inspiration from cheetah, known to be the fastest animal on land. The jaw-like front grille, the paw-styled handles, the pouncing cheetah body line and the haunches inspired by those of a cheetah are some of the most prominent cues taken from the body of the magnificent beast.
Mahindra XUV500 - Rearview
The Mahindra XUV 500 with its dynamic looks is capable of warding off the competition from other competitors like Tata Aria and Tata Safari.  The SUV is well equipped in regards to the safety features as well with, six airbags for avoiding injuries for passengers as well as the driver, ABS, traction control, EBD, ESP along with hill descent control.
The 6000 bookings for the SUV do not come as a surprise with the competitive pricing. However, the Indian auto major has to take serious steps to bring down the waiting period for the SUV. With the kind of response, the wait period for the SUV is expected to reach 3 months. The production capacity of Mahindra’s Chakan plant stands to be 2000 units, which the company intends to increase based on the demand. One can only hope the best for Mahindra, which has launched its best product from its stable till-date. Imagine all the 6000 bookings converting into sales; then there are no bounds for the impending success.

BMW New X3 Car

New BMW New X3 Car - ExteriorQuick Take

BMW X3, the Compact Crossover SUV has been launched in India with a new look. The X3 launched in India is the second Generation X3, signifying a milestone in the growth strategy of BMW in India. The first generation BMW 3, unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in 2003, was a big success story in terms of sales, though it attracted mixed reviews from the press. The car was initially condemned for its harsh ride quality, an austere interior, excessive use of plastic components and the quality of the summer tyres used. There were other reviews which appreciated the capability, safe bottom which assisted in rough terrain rides and the hill-descent control quality. BMW however worked on the shortcomings in 2005 and affected various upgrades working on the body bumpers, engine, interiors and suspension. The changes were well accepted and X3 bagged the Canadian Car of the Year and Best Sports Utility Vehicle awards in 2005.
The X3 will be available in eight colour options including Alpine white (non-metallic) and metallic colour options including Titanium Silver, Black Sapphire, Mineral Silver, Space Grey, Deep Sea Blue, Vermillion Red and Sparkling Bronze.

Powertrain & Performance

The BMW X3 in India comes with a roomy interior and remarkable on and off road capabilities, in two diesel variants. The xDrive 30d come with a 6-Cylinder engine which produces 285 bhp while the xDrive 20d comes with a 4-cylinder engine producing 184 bhp and 380 Nm torque. The car boasts of technologically advanced features, supportive seats and an option for a sunroof, providing comfort with convenience apart from delivering smooth ride and good acceleration. The 8-speed automatic transmission keeps the engine speeds lower and the auto start-stop functions prevent wastage of fuel and aids efficient and dynamic driving. The responsive transmission also assists in smooth gear shifts. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km in 8.5 seconds achieving top speed of 210 km/h. The feature of brake energy regeneration helps capture the energy wasted during frequent braking to charge the battery.

Build & Styling

New BMW New X3 Car - Interior
The new BMW X3 has been completely redesigned to be a little bigger than the one in the previous generation. The company has also introduced many notable mechanical improvements. The suspension is better balanced and the handling capacity has been enhanced offering a better ride quality. The quality of automatic start/stop helps to conserve energy while the aerodynamic features have given the X3 one of the best drag coefficients in its class, consuming lower fuel and giving better acoustics and greater safety. Electro mechanical power steering feature of the X3 gets activated only when one turns the wheel, drawing electrical power (from previously captured kinetic energy of the vehicle) from the battery.
The exterior and interiors have been designed incorporating the latest electronic technologies including a GPRS enabled cruise control feature. Other luxuries in the car include heated rear seats and steering wheel, Bluetooth streaming audio, multiview parking cameras and an advanced music system which includes 10 speakers, a CD Changer which is MP3 compatible, a remote boot opener, AC with dual zone climate control and electric sun room amongst others. The interior of the car is highlighted by an attractive dark ash wood trim coupled with high-quality textured surface. Though lesser spacious compared to the X5, the X3 would easily accommodate four adults. The rear seats can be folded to accommodate more cargo. A net extends from the back seat to the ceiling, accommodating sleeping bags.
The new X3 has a smaller frontal area, which is expected to contribute towards its better fuel efficiency. Safety features in the car includes 6 air bags and ABS with EBD. The responsive engines in the xDrive system provide precise steering, enabling one to drive well in any weather condition and an ability to instantly detect slippage. The car allows the driver to redirect power to the wheels with the most traction, making the BMW X3 a great car to own and ride in safety and comfort!

Mahindra XUV500

It is without doubt Mahindra’s best, most impressive home-grown product yet. And going by the reactions we have gotten so far, it is probably the most awaited as well. We have had Innova and Safari owners and even people in Superbs hailing us down and getting a complete low-down on the new SUV. And rightly so, because for less than Rs 12 lakh, the stuff the XUV 500 (read as the five O O), packs in, it makes it a huge value for money (VFM) proposition. But is there more to it than just VFM, we drove it to find out.

Highlights –
- The XUV is a 7 seater SUV.
- Unlike other Mahindra utility vehicles which are built on older body over ladder frame chassis, this one uses a more modern monocoque giving it better handling and high speed stability.
- It is available with only with one engine option.
- The engine is the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel already seen on the Scorpio, but on the XUV it makes more power and torque.
- The XUV is available in three versions – the front wheel drive version comes in W6 and W8 versions, while the all-wheel-drive is only available in the top of the line W8 version.
- The W8 comes with 6 airbags, ABS and ESP in terms of safety and has lot of comfort and convenience equipment as well like digital climate control, rear parking sensors, AC vents for all three rows, cooled box, steering mounted controls and a Satnav system as well.
